Joy and Jackie,
I have just found out that the Colonel has passed. I wanted to send my heartfelt wishes
and prayers to you and your family. I truly enjoyed all the time I spent with you at Harbourside and you always made me feel like I was part of your family.
He was
such a wonderful person and I cherish the fact that it was he that allowed me to become familiar with your wonderful hotel, and the beautiful area in which you lived. It was a
pleasure working together and spending the time there during my business and pleasure trips!
Please know that your family is in my prayers, as I am going through a
similar situation as my father was just recently diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer.
Best to you and your entire family!

are overwhelmed with sadness. A wonderful man, humorist, brave soldier, and friend has now joined God.
While we are saddened, we are comforted in having been blessed to know
him and to be touched by him.

Our little piece of Heaven on Earth! |

To anyone not sure of Harbourside, allow me to put it very succinctly: we've been coming there
since 1999. Ray and Joy and "Smokey Joe" are the nicest people you will meet, Harbourside is simply heavenly, and you will not want to leave.
I said I'd be succinct.
Please feel free to contact me if you want a more detailed description; but trust me, I love the place!!! |

Another Great Stay |

Our recent visit was our third time staying at Harbourside. We continue to be impressed by the welcome which we always
receive and now Eugene's fried eggs also. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back again. |

You couldn't ask for more... |

We've stayed in many B&B's but the Harbourside tops them all - so much so that I am quite tempted not
write a message so as to keep it a secret! Beautiful rooms; cosy, quiet and tastefully decorated as well as brilliant sea views. The exquisite house and garden are a delight to
explore as well as being the perfect place to relax and breakfast was superb. A huge thank you to Ray and Joy for being so welcoming and hopefully will be visiting again soon.

Joy, Ray, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, everything is done with a cool calm quiet efficiency. The
decor of the Harbourside has been done with such panache, with many beautiful things to rest the eyes on. The music room is a much welcom bonus. Must not forget the
breakfast's, fanatastic ! Their is no alternative for me when staying Folkestone, simply magical. |
